Compatibility with other plugins
Which plugins XIV MCP pauses while it works, and which it uses.
XIV MCP detects these plugins automatically. Its settings only mention the ones you have installed, and /xivmcp → Info → Compatibility shows what it found.

Plugins it pauses
| Plugin | What XIV MCP does |
|---|---|
| AutoRetainer | AutoRetainer starts processing ventures as soon as a bell opens. While XIV MCP uses the bell, it holds AutoRetainer back through its public interface and releases it a few seconds after the bell is closed. If AutoRetainer is busy, or in multi mode (where it logs in to each of your characters in turn to handle their retainers), XIV MCP does not touch the bell. |
| YesAlready and TextAdvance | Paused while XIV MCP drives game windows, so they do not click for it. |
| FCCH | A plugin for the free company chest. XIV MCP waits until it has finished with the chest before moving items or gil there. |
Plugins it uses
None of them is required. XIV MCP's own tools work without them, asking you to do the part the plugin would have done: vnavmesh walks for you, Lifestream teleports you, Item Vendor Location finds vendors. Only the integration tools (dungeons with AutoDuty, crafting lists with Artisan, gathering with GatherBuddy Reborn, FC chest transfers with FCCH, the Gold Saucer with Saucy or TriadBuddy, fishing with AutoHook, quests with Questionable) need their plugin, and they disappear from your assistant's tool list while it is not loaded.
Which tool uses which plugin, what happens without it, and where to get each one is on Plugins XIV MCP uses.
