Plugins XIV MCP uses

Which of XIV MCP's tools use other plugins, what happens without them, and where to get each plugin.

You do not need any other plugin to use XIV MCP. Its tools come in two kinds:

Core tools work without any other plugin. Some of them hand a part of the work to a plugin when you have it: walking, travel, finding vendors. Without it, XIV MCP asks you to do that part, and waits until you have.
Integration tools drive one plugin each, and need it. Your assistant only sees them while that plugin is loaded.

Core tools that use plugins

Every other core tool uses no plugin at all.

Integration tools

These tools exist to drive one plugin each, so they always need it. They are only offered to the assistant while that plugin is loaded.

AutoDuty

Runs and loops dungeons until a loop count, item or currency target is reached. Needs AutoDuty.

Tool	What it does
`list_duties`	Lists the duties that can be run for you, with their levels and modes.
`get_duty_status`	Checks whether a dungeon run is going on and how far it has got.
`stop_duty`	Stops the dungeon run once the current fight is over.
`run_duty`	Runs a dungeon with NPC allies or a party, as often as needed. Your character can be defeated.
`farm_duty_item`	Runs a dungeon that drops an item until you have as many as you want.

Artisan

Crafts and crafting lists, and Raphael solutions prepared ahead of time. Needs Artisan.

Tool	What it does
`get_crafting_lists`	Lists your crafting lists.
`set_crafting_list`	Creates or changes a crafting list. The old lists are backed up first.
`delete_crafting_list`	Deletes a crafting list. The old lists are backed up first.
`craft_item`	Crafts an item a number of times, using your materials.
`crafting_control`	Starts, pauses or stops a crafting list.
`run_crafting_list`	Crafts a whole crafting list, using your materials.
`prepare_craft_plan`	Writes a crafting list for a project and works out each craft in advance. Crafts nothing yet.

GatherBuddy Reborn

Auto-gathering and its gather lists. Needs GatherBuddy Reborn.

Tool	What it does
`get_gather_lists`	Lists your gathering lists.
`set_gather_list`	Creates or changes a gathering list. The old lists are backed up first.
`delete_gather_list`	Deletes a gathering list. The old lists are backed up first.
`set_auto_gather`	Turns automatic gathering on or off. While it is on, your character moves and gathers on its own.
`gather_until`	Gathers until you have the amounts you need, moving your character from node to node.

Item Vendor Location

Which NPCs sell an item and where they stand. Needs Item Vendor Location.

FCCH

Free company chest deposits and withdrawals. Needs FCCH.

Gold Saucer

Triple Triad and the Cactpot lotteries with Saucy; your cards, opponents and decks also with TriadBuddy. Needs Saucy, except where the table says otherwise.

Custom Deliveries

Custom deliveries with Satisfier: this week's requests, and delivering them by crafting, gathering or fishing. Needs Satisfier, except where the table says otherwise.

Ocean fishing

Ocean fishing voyages: the schedule and routes, boarding at the ferry docks, and a job that fishes voyages with AutoHook until a target. Needs Distant Seas, except where the table says otherwise.

`import_ocean_presets`	Imports AutoHook's ocean fishing presets for a goal: points, legends, achievements or levelling.	Needs no plugin.
`go_ocean_fishing`	Fishes ocean voyages with AutoHook until your target: voyages, points or a fish.	Needs no plugin.
`fish_ocean_voyages`	Boards and fishes voyages one after another, as a step of an ocean fishing job.	Needs no plugin.

AutoHook

Fishing with AutoHook: presets built for the fish you are after, fishing until it is caught, and a job that does it all. Needs AutoHook, except where the table says otherwise.

Questionable

Quests with Questionable: a quest with the quests it needs first, the day's allied society quests, and the main scenario. Needs Questionable.

`get_questing_status`	Looks at which quest is being done for you, and at your allied society reputation.
`complete_quest`	Does a quest for you, together with the quests it needs first.
`do_tribe_dailies`	Does the day's allied society quests for you, rank-up quests included.
`do_quests`	Does quests for you until they are done.
`start_main_scenario`	Starts doing the main scenario quests for you.
`stop_questing`	Stops doing quests for you, once a fight is over.

Where to get them

Plugins in Dalamud's main repository are installed from /xlplugins right away. For the others, add their repository first:

Type /xlsettings and open the Experimental tab.

Under Custom Plugin Repositories, paste the repository URL from the table, tick Enabled and click Save and Close.

Type /xlplugins, search for the plugin and click Install.

Where XIV MCP shows a missing plugin, such as under Market & purchases or on a third-party plugin's card, an Install button opens the plugin installer at that plugin. For a plugin outside the main repository, the card also has Copy repository URL and Open Dalamud settings. Only add repositories you trust.
