Crafting and gathering

Plan a crafting project, gather what is missing and craft the list, with Artisan and GatherBuddy Reborn.

Planning works on its own. Crafting and gathering go through Artisan and GatherBuddy Reborn, so their tools are only offered while those plugins are loaded, with their own modules under Integrations maintained by XIV MCP.

Filling the bags

With "quantity": "fill", plan_craft plans as many as fit in your bags. For collectables, it also plans no more than can be turned in before the scrip cap, with the scrips per collectability tier.

A whole project as one job

"Craft as many of this collectable as I can turn in before the scrip cap, gather what is missing, and turn them in."

Your assistant can run this as one background job:

  1. prepare_craft_plan with "quantity": "fill" for a collectable,
  2. gather_until or transfer_retainer_items for the materials,
  3. run_crafting_list,
  4. turn_in_collectables (stops before the scrip cap),
  5. buy_item with a standing approval, and
  6. sell_item.

Good to know

Neither plugin offers a way to change its lists from outside. So editing a list briefly unloads the plugin, updates its file (with a backup) and loads it again. The Raphael preparation uses Artisan's internals and may need an update after Artisan changes.
